Built-in or freestanding

Built-in grills are designed to fit into your outdoor bench, fireplace or custom cooking space.

Our freestanding grills come with a stand either on legs or heavy duty wheels.

An enclosed cabinet stand or a storage shelf is also an option.

A splashback can be added to both freestanding and built-in barbecues. Material options include heat bricks or stainless steel.

Grate surfaces

Parrilla BBQs are traditionally defined by the V-shaped grate, which channels grease and juices away from the flames, reducing flare-ups caused by dripping fat.

These grills usually feature drip trays to catch this runoff for easier clean up.

We can also build grates with 8mm round rods for a smokier cook that will give that seared grill look to your meat.

Grates can be either fixed in place or interchangeable, allowing you to swap out different grill surfaces.

Add a picanha skewer system for more grilling options.

Grill configuration

Your barbecue can have more than one grill, and more than one grill type. Customers typically choose one, two or three grills.

Many of the barbecues we have built combine v-groove, round rod or plancha surfaces to take advantage of each cooking method's unique strengths.

Surfaces can be lidded for smoking and roasting.

Winding wheel and height control

A key feature of the Argentinian parrilla is the winding wheel, which enables you to precisely control cooking temperature by adjusting the height.

A winding wheel can be positioned either on the side or at the front of the grill.

The brasero

A brasero, or firebox, is an essential tool in traditional Argentinean grilling. It allows you to make your own coals, giving your food a distinctive smoky flavour that you won't get from charcoal. Commonly used woods are ironbark, red gum and oak.

The brasero can be positioned on either centre, left or right.

Firebrick lining

Lining the fire pit with 25mm thick heat bricks gives parrillas the edge over standard grills. The lining retains heat and distribute it evenly over the cooking area, ensuring that your food is cooked consistently.

Sliding vented front doors

Sliding vented front doors help with heat control by allowing you to adjust airflow to the fire. They make it easier to add fuel or stoke the fire without interfering with the cooking process.

Side tables

Side tables can be added to either side of the barbecue to provide space for food prep and storage. Material options are stainless steel or wood.

All Fenwesco barbecues are built using 304 or marine grade stainless steel.

Rotisseries and racks

A spit rotisserie can be suspended above the grill to enable the slow-cooking of meats. Rotisserie size options are 10kg, 30kg or even larger.

Resting and warming racks are also customer favourites.
